I graduated from the United States Military Academy at West Point after growing up in Florissant and attending Hazelwood Central High School. During those early years, I earned my Eagle Scout rank and attended Boys State, experiences that helped shape my commitment to service and leadership. After being commissioned as an Army officer, I was stationed in Germany and deployed to Saudi Arabia during Desert Storm, making me a Desert Storm Veteran.

My connection to service continued after the military through my involvement as a VFW Post 8828 member in Troy, MO. Owning a business in Troy has also allowed me to stay active in the community as a Troy Chamber of Commerce member and Troy Kiwanis member, where I previously served as LT-Governor and as the Kiwanis Missouri & Arkansas District Risk Manager.
